White Hot Sands!

White Sands New Mexico.  A place that could be categorized as beautiful, stunning, breathtaking, or maybe unbelievable.  It could also however be categorized as hotter than hell, annoying, secretive, creepy, or huge.  Whatever category you choose to label it under there is no doubt that it is a photographers blank white canvas.  The state park which is located in Tularosa Basin lays claim to the largest gypsum dune field on Earth.  The dunes cover nearly 275 square miles and glow for as far as the eyes can see.  During the daytime it can be an oven with the hot New Mexican sun radiating off the fine grains of gypsum, but when the sun begins to sink behind the western mountains the light takes a turn for the beautiful...
